The Employee Benefits Security Administrstion (EBSA)

The Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) administers Title I of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) and certain portions of the Federal Employees' Retirement System Act of the 1986. EBSA is responsible for regulation, enforcement and research to protect private sector pension plans, and private sector welfare benefit plans.
