SCSEP

The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP), funded under Title V of the Older Americans Act, serves persons with low incomes who are 55 years old or over and have poor employment prospects. The program has two purposes. The first purpose is to provide useful community services and the other is to foster individual economic self sufficiency through training and job placement in unsubsidized jobs. The services provided in this program include up to 20 hours a week of part-time employment in community service assignments, and job training and related educational opportunities
