Frequency of Perfromance Appraisals


If the employer is to implement performance evaluations, it must determine the evaluation schedule, and it must establish an evaluation form. The employer should conduct its performance evaluations according to a regular schedule. The employer might conduct its evaluations once, twice, three times, or four times per year. If the employer wants to actively develop its employees, it should consider conducting its evaluations every three or four months. The evaluation form should help observers to structure their remarks about staff members.
