Essential Elements of Cause of Action for Retaliation Under ADA


In order to establish a prima facie case of retaliatory discrimination under the ADA, a plaintiff must prove that - he or she engaged in a protected activity; - his or her employer took an adverse employment action; and - a causal connection exists between the protected activity and the adverse employment action.
