EEOC Third Party Discrimination Prohibition


The EEOC's Title I regulations provide that an employer participates in discrimination when it participates in a relationship that effectuates discrimination. Such prohibited relationships may encompass contractual dealings with the following types of entities: - Employment agencies; - Labor unions; - Organizations providing fringe benefits to employees; and - Firms providing training and apprenticeship programs.
