EEOC’s List of Prohibited Pre-Employment Inquiries

The EEOC has identified the following examples of other types of inquiries as being disability-related and, hence, prohibited from being asked at the pre-offer stage: - Do you have asthma? - Do you have a disability that would interfere with your ability to perform the job? - How many days were you sick last year? - Have you ever filed for workers' compensation? Have you ever been injured on the job?
