Driving Phobia Is Not A Major Life Activity Under ADA

In a case visited by the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals on whether an individual suffering from a phobia involving the operation of an automobile was significantly limited in the major life activity of commuting to and from work. The court concluded that ''getting to and from work assignments,'' in and of itself, is not a major life activity, but rather is a component of the major life activity of working.
