Does every person who has filed a workers' compensation claim have a disability under the ''record of'' portion of the ADA definition? No. A person has a disability under the ''record of'' portion of the ADA definition only if s/he has a history of, or has been misclassified as having, a mental or physical impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities.
