Disability Harassment Prohibited by the ADA


The ADA also makes it unlawful for an employer to ''coerce, intimidate, threaten, or interfere'' with any individual in the exercise or enjoyment of any rights or protections afforded under the Act. In addition, the ADA makes it unlawful to retaliate against an individual on account of ''his or her having aided or encouraged any other individual in the exercise or enjoyment of, any right'' granted under the ADA.
